Happy new year to you and your family, may your new year be filled with much love and many blessings.
Don’t have any specific resolutions I’m going to make, just want to do more things for more people. Love the pay it forward concept.
So excited to say I finished three more quilts, binding and labels, ready to use or store in the quilt closet.
First was my Civil War tribute, how many of you still have those bags of blocks of the month. Changed the outer border but I really love the quilt.
Finished an Amish quilt, the panels came out many years ago and all the proceeds went to fight MS.
And after over 25 years of quilting, I made myself my first quilt. It is made using feed sacks squares that were a swap at one of the dear Jane retreats.
Such lovely quilts by an extremely talented quilter! I love them all. Having worn flour sack underwear as a child (and HATING) them…..it brought tears to my eyes to see what a lovely work you made with them. Wish I had some of those fabrics back……but the memories were a lovely treat this a.m. Love the Amish panels….and the first quilt is divine. In honor of such a wonderful MS quilt and several dear friends afflicted, I started off the New Year with a donation to the organization. Happy New Year, dear Rosemary.
Happy New Year to you and yours, and CONGRATS on your three finishes! I’m hoping to get some of my UFOs finished up this year. :o)
Your quilts are beautiful! I love them all. Happy New Year!
Still love the tribute. Happy and Blessed 2014 for you and your family
Happy New Year! Fantastic way to finish 2013 with 3 gorgeous quilts. Hope you have been able to thaw out a little before the next storm moving in. We just checked TWC and we’re headed down to -8 early next week. Time to get all of those stored quilts out to wrap up in. ;O
Lovely quilts. It’s a beautiful hobby/way of life.
This is great finishes. Love the Civil war tribute. I did not order this BOM, and regret it when I see this beautiful quilt.
