Posts Tagged ‘looking for a Chelsea boutique fabric’

Good Afternoon,

I hope that this post finds you all stitching and finding plenty of ways to stay cool. It is hard to believe that tomorrow it is going to be August, summer has really gone by fast.

I posted the patterns for the month of August. The Baltimore block is block number 20 out of 25 blocks.

The Nancy Page alphabet blocks this month are letters Q and R. I cannot wait to see some of the quilts finished, the blocks you have been doing are just darling.

We’re almost finished with the flower garden quilt, we are on block number 20 out of 21 blocks. There is also a couple of pages of quilting ideas that were printed in the press in the 1930s that are included in this month’s downloads. Next month I will post the last pattern for the quilt.

I am having a lot of fun working on my Phebe Quilt by Di Ford, still planning on making two of them. I have plenty of work to do on the appliqué but the stars are coming along very well. Thought I would send you an updated picture, I am still looking for one fabric for the quilt. It is the fabric that forms the hill, it is a moda, called Chelsea boutique and the color that I need is teal with the brown polkadots . If you have it in your stash, let me know, I enclosed a picture. I think the fabric was actually released in spring of 2007.

We have a shipment of quilts this week that will be headed off to Uganda, East Africa. Our family is been so blessed by this ministry and I thank all of you that are helping us along the way.

I am looking forward to the AQS show that will be held in Grand Rapids Michigan this summer. I hope to see some of you there.

Happy Stitching,

Rosemary
