Good evening,
Thought I would take a minute and post pictures of my Kingfisher hexagon quilt. It was so much fun to work on, I loved making the hexagons. The fabrics were certainly out of my box and sometimes after I’m drawn to the reproduction fabrics in a shop I am now drawn to some of the brighter fabrics.
Spent today refolding fabric in my Storage unit and tried to pick out fabric for some future projects. Here is the before and after picture.
it is amazing how much a little organization makes it easier to pick out fabrics for other projects . I hope you have a great weekend and find time to work on a special project. Happy stitching, Rosemary
I love your Kingfisher! Lot of hand work there and the fussy cutting is really nice. I had to straighten out my batiks after making YL! Pulling fabric and then putting it back is a chore. Your fabric bin looks great! Hugs
Oh I forgot to tell you I agree. I had been working on repro quilts and fabrics, and it was nice to work on two with more vibrant colors, and of course, working with my batiks!
Beautiful!!
