Good afternoon dear friends,
Beautiful snowy day here for stitching, temperatures are -2 windshield and snow is blowing all over the place. Nothing better than sitting down at your sewing machine.
The holidays have been very busy, I became a grandmother again on December 26. Little Ezra Matthew was born, and doing very well. I made a couple of baby quilts for Ezra, I love making quilts for my grandchildren. One of them was using the Temecula Circa 2017 patterns.
It is always so hard when January rolls around because so many blocks of the month and projects become available to do, I always have such a hard time choosing which ones and of course I usually choose all of them. Just recently we started a Facebook group for a postage stamp Quilt if any of you would like to join us. The quilt is pictured in the middle on the front of the book, Treasury of Quilts , 19th Century Patchwork Divas. Would love to make the quilt on the left, the tree of life quilt next . The blocks are so much fun to do and all of the strips for the squares were cut from my scrap bag. And no they did not make a dent at all in the scrap bag.
I am sure I will be posting more pictures of more project soon.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful new year full of love, peace and time to do what you love to do. Happy quilting,
