I’m so thrilled that the summer weather is going to be disappearing. I love summer because I get to spend so much more time with the grandchildren because they don’t have school but I do not like the hot and steamy humid weather we have had this summer.
I’m in the mood to start a completely new project, just not sure what I want to start which is unusual for me. I have plenty of things that I could start but nothing is really speaking to me right now.
I finished up my circle and star project that I started at the beginning of the year.
I just love the simplicity of a simple star block. I’m also working on the Barbara Brackman stars and decided to combine them with my Lucy Boston blocks. Love the combination and when my two-year-old grandson was over and stepped on the quilts and said Wow, it became his wedding quilt.
Also finished a couple Halloween project, a Halloween quilts and a flag decoration.
So I hope you enjoy the fall season, it is definitely my favorite. I will send soon send pictures of whatever I decide to work on next.
I will close with a couple of my favorite pictures from the summer, my granddaughters and I were returning on the ferry from Mackinac Island and we just could not stop laughing.
