Last week the big AQS show was in Grand Rapids, my hometown. I took plenty of pictures but I’m having computer troubles with the smile box so I’m hoping that by the end of the week I we’ll figure that out and be up to send you a smile box. It is so wonderful to have such an awesome show in our backyard.
It also made me gather all the quilts from the ironing board and around the house that needed binding and they are currently in the dining room and that is my project for the week. 12 large quilts that need binding, I’m bout to determine to get them finished before I start something new. Once I get the binding on my machine, it will be a long process turning it back by hand but that’s OK the hard part will be accomplished. It is so much easier to put the binding on in the dining room on a bigger table.
The only block of the month or block of the week I am working on yet this year is the Barbara Brackman stars. Right now I’m doing two of every star, just fun to use a different fabric she picks every week.
Have a wonderful day and I hope that I will be able to post a smile box soon. Happy quilting, Rosemary
