Happy new year, I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. This holiday season it seemed more busier than normal, a lot more things to do, more wonderful family events and now it is time to get back to that sewing machine.
I had one more quilt on the ironing board that I needed to finish and that was my Lancaster diamonds, finished putting the binding on tonight. So I am ready to start on some new things.
I’m not 100% sure what I’m going to be working on this coming year, I have so many things that I want to do and for reason I am having a hard time choosing two or three to get going on. I am working on Sophie’s garden which is my first wool project and I really like it. It is the first time also working with Japanese taupes. Appliqué pieces are ironed on, still need to add the buttonhole stitch
I did quite a few blocks of the month projects last year so I’m taking a break from them but I am going to doing Barbara Brackman 6 inch stars on Wednesdays,
Hope that you are enjoying the beginning of the year, hope your year is filled with many blessings, much love, good health and finished projects.
