I spent some time sorting out what was left in the last Tupperware, I sorted it out into four projects. I decided to pull out all the bright and the primary colored blocks. What a mishmash of different sizes and colors, will be interesting to see what I can put together using them. I am amazed at how many things can fit into one Tupperware. Yes, I’m also amazed at how many projects I started and did not finish over the last 25 or so years.
Thank you for all your suggestions and emails about designing a new quilt, will figure out a project to work on, also need to figure out how to post blocks online so that you can easily access them. Look for the project to start either this summer or early fall.
If you are looking for some free things to do on the Internet, Pam Buda is going to be doing another sew along,
Barbara Brackman is doing another block of the week, this series will be on Jane Austen starting on April 6 and will be featured for 36 weeks. I’m so thankful that Barbara shares so much online, not only patterns but interesting historical stories.
Well I am off to the sewing room to work with that pile of brightly colored odds and ends. Stay tuned, maybe by next week I will have a finished quilt top
Enjoy your weekend, spring really is around the corner, hope the sun is shining where you are.
