I imagine you wonder how my ironing board is doing, are all my projects finished? Absolutely not.
I still have the Tupperware sitting there. Haven’t had any time with the holiday plans to start on another one of those projects. You will notice that there are nine quilts that need to have the binding put on now on the board. Lol Work is never done and there’s always more to do. Thankful for that.
Put binding on three of my daughters quilts, she worked on the jelly rolls in Shipshewana, she gives me the blocks or the sections and then I put them together with the borders and then I put the binding on and I am giving them back to her. I’m going to teach her how to stitch the binding back. Maybe she will like it and want to do the binding on my quilts.
I am not sure why we get so close to having something finished at least I do and then I put off putting on the binding.
I started this flag quilt in Shipshewana with friends and I did finish putting that together.
Also made a special miniature to go with it.
I am starting so many new projects, this definitely is going to be a year of finishing things up and starting many new ones. One of my favorite things that I have started is the Lucy Boston quilt. First block finished. Set my goal to try to do one a month in this upcoming year.
Will post soon about all the new projects I’m starting.
Wishing you and your family a blessed holiday season.
Love and blessings,
