So all of those wonderful Tupperware of my UFOs and orphan blocks were on my ironing board, this is what it looked like The beginning of September.
I made somewhat of a dent when I did the two orphan block quilts, I really wanted to put all of this away until January but for some reason I am leaving it there. I guess I have decided that from now until next December, it is time to finish up things. Each of the Tupperware’s seems to hold things that I haven’t seen for a while. This is what my ironing board looks like today.
I open one of the Tupperware’s today and this was what I found,
I could not believe it, this might be the only yardage in all the Tupperware from what I can see but here is a border, inner border and lattice fabric along with 80 finished blocks. I have to chuckle, I cannot believe I put this away, it was so close to being finished. Something really important must’ve came along, this is going to be my next project to work on.
It will be a lot of fun to work with the brightly colored blocks as it is going to be raining here in Michigan the next 8 to 10 days.
Happy quilting, I am having a fun journey with all of these things. I have not opened all of the boxes and have not gone through them, more surprises ahead .
