Since so many of you have more time during the holiday week to do some stitching, the December patterns will be posted early.
The Nursery Rhyme pattern this month is Jack be nimble. This is the second pattern in a series of 25. Santas Parade quilt features the dish and the spoon.
The Christmas Toy quilt pattern is a red, yellow and blue ball. In the 1930s, the pattern calls to use bias tape for the stripes on the ball.
The Quilt of Many Stars features a joining star, 24 joining stars are needed in the quilt. There also is a border star in which 10 stars are needed. Instructions and templates are posted this month.
For the Magic Vine quilt, block two, the leaf pattern for the joining and the border is provided. You need the leaf pattern before you can put on another flower. The leaf pattern is duplicated over and over again in the running vine border.
Kansas City star pattern is the Ozarks star, 32 blocks are needed to make a bed size quilt. The Missouri Wonder and the Kansas Duststorm are also provided. The pattern ads that you could send to the Kansas City Star $.10 for the pattern features the Field of Daisies and Flowers of Friendship.
