It is hard to believe that September is almost here, I cannot wait for the cooler days of fall.
It was so emotional to receive some pictures from Uganda, to see those babies wrapped up in the quilts that we have been sending. This suitcase of quilts was delivered in person by a friend of my daughters, their whole family went to Uganda to do missionary work for a couple of weeks. They enjoyed passing out the quilts , it was wonderful to hear their story and their youngest daughter tell me how much the quilts were needed. Thank you for all of those that are helping us with this ministry. We became so involved because my daughter and her husband and my son and his wife are each adopting two children from Ethiopia , it is amazing how many simple needs these children have . The colorful quilts definitely decorated the orphanage.
September patterns are posted , we are now finished with the flower garden series, the last pattern is the wild Rose. I certainly hope that you have enjoyed the Nancy page series, we will be starting another pattern series next month. The Baltimore block is block 21 out of 25 blocks. The alphabets quilt blocks this month are S and T. I think that that has really been a popular series and everyone has really enjoyed it.
It is never too early to start collecting the blocks, all the past blocks are online. If you have any questions at all, just e-mail me anytime. Have a great evening.
