I hope that you are all finding plenty of ways to stay cool and some time to stitch. There is always something to work on here, it seems like when I first started quilting, I started with just one quilt, I would work on that quilt until it was finished and did not start anything else, can you imagine that.
Just thought I would update you about the quilt for the orphanage, we have had so much fun working on the quilts along with so many of you that have sent us quilts or fabrics. We have been taking Quilts to the adoption agency for families to take over to Ethiopia and other countries.
Today I have this shipment of all the quilts in the picture above ready and it will be heading out tomorrow morning to an orphanage in Haiti .
My granddaughters favorite quilt to make is just using simple squares. If you would like to make a simple quilt or help your granddaughters , daughters or friends , we will be happy to send you some packages of squares already precut.
Just e-mail me and let me know. firstname.lastname@example.org
The squares are approximately 5 inches and we set them 7 x 9. We then simply back them with flannel and turn them inside out . Instructions are on the website. If you would rather come up with your own patterns or designs, all quilts or fabrics will be appreciated.
Enjoy your day today, please let me know if you have any questions at all.
