I hope that you are finding plenty of time to work on special projects. We are having spring weather here in the states, temperatures will be in 80s by the end of the week. It is so wonderful to see everything so green and the flowers blooming.
Working on several projects here, starting the work on my Phebe quilt, also working on my diamonds and my houses. I am halfway finished with my Lancaster diamonds, enjoying the journey, even simplifying some blocks to make them more enjoyable. I was going to make my house quilt 122 in.², after giving that some thought and figured it would be for one my grandchildren, I can imagine a toddler dragging around 122 in.² quilt. Going to make a couple of twin size quilts or full size quilts of the houses.
My Yahoo group, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/civilwardiaryquilt/ is going to start working on the blocks from the Civil War Anniversary Quilt Book. We are going to start on a block of the week and are going to start in the beginning of June. Feel free to join us if you would like. Instructions will be provided for the block of the week and I’m sure that many will share their photographs of the blocks.
The World War II manuscript is now edited and back to the editor. It will return to me once or twice yet for final editing. Should be released around October or November.
Enjoy your day today and I hope you can find some special time just to stitch.
Have a wonderful day and the sun is shining where you are.
