I hope that this post finds you stitching, it has been such unusual weather here in Michigan. We have had a week of 85° days in March and definitely have broke plenty of weather records here. I will be sending out an e-mail this weekend on how you can order the new Civil War Anniversary Quilt Book. My official copy arrived here and I am so thrilled with the book. The World War II book is still being worked on by the editors and I will have a couple more times of editing myself to do with the book before that goes to the printers. I’m assuming the book will be ready sometime in October.
I have posted the April patterns on the download page on the website. The letters I and J from the alphabet quilt are so cute, some of you have been sharing your pictures with me and I cannot wait to see your finished quilt. I think the alphabet quilt is one my favorite quilt patterns from the 1930s.
We’re on Baltimore album pattern 16/25, 6 inch block’s number 31 and 32 and Block number 17 of the flower garden Newspaper series, The block this month is the Lily of the Valley. There are only four more blocks left in that series.
Look for some more news this weekend, enjoy the beautiful unusual spring weather we’re having.
