The fall season is my favorite, I love the cooler weather and all the fun things there are to do in the fall. It seems like it is always a good time to start new quilting projects, I am trying to figure out how to do hexagons right now, you would not think that something so small would not be so challenging to put together. Of course I like things that are challenge anyways:).
I absolutely love the colors of the fall season, we took a drive up north and in Michigan during the fall the colors are absolutely beautiful. We stopped at a farmers market, so much fun to see all the fresh produce. What is even better is the colors, like the colors of the quilt.
The colors of the trees are just turning in upper Michigan, beautiful shades of red and yellow and orange. Plenty of wildlife, birds everywhere and even a turtle enjoying the sunshine. I thought it would share some of my photographs with you.
It was a wonderful little getaway, we even had a chance to stop at a quilt shop, New Ewe Yarn Shoppe and Quilting in the Newaygo, Michigan, wonderful fabrics and beautiful colors of yarn. I hope you enjoy the photographs, more quilting news soon.
