I hope that this e-mail finds you stitching and enjoying some beautiful weather. It has been a really rainy April here, It is wonderful to see the flower bulbs peeking through the earth. They say in Michigan we are actually going to have temperatures just a little bit below average this summer.
Patterns are now posted on the website for this month, the red work patterns for the nursery rhyme quilt are Polly put the kettle on and the old woman in the shoe. The old woman in the shoe is such a cute pattern, my grandchildren also like to use these patterns as color pages.
Two 6 inch patterns have also been added to your collection, these blocks can be made using templates or by foundations. I think it is somewhat easier to piece them together using foundations.
Work on the new book is coming along well, sometimes it is really hard to focus on the book when I have so many quilting projects I want to work on. Spending my spare time working on the new sampler quilt that I talked about earlier that I was inspired by in Shipshewana, working on all kinds of Star quilts and my lollipops. I also have my dear Jane which I’m slowly working on a block here and there among many other projects. I guess I am just a typical quilter with many projects going at the same time.
Enjoy your day today, I hope there is even a little bit of time to stitch. If you have any questions about the patterns or anything, just let me know.
