Dear friends,
Snow is falling here like crazy, definitely a winter wonderland and not a good night to be on the roads.
February Patterns have been posted on the website, there are three new Kansas City Star Quilt block patterns, Seven Stars, the Kansas City Beauty and the MorningStar.
The Christmas toy quilt pattern this month was a bicycle and the nursery rhyme quilt block is Little Bo Peep.
The Santa parade pattern is a darling little fairy called Little Crystal. I cannot wait to see that one appliquéd or embroidered.
The quilt of many star blocks is the Blazing star this month and the magic vine quilt is the phlox.
If you have any questions on any of the new block patterns, email me anytime.
Besides working on the blocks of the month here, we are working on the quilts for the orphanages.
Also focusing on three large projects this year, working on stars for the second Phebe quilt,

I am on the eighth group of the Lancaster diamonds, over halfway finished now.
Last but not least, I am starting to gather information to get started working on quilt book number six. More on that later in the year.
Stay warm and stay stitching,
Rosemary

AHA! I was right, you are doing all of these wonderful blocks AND working on a book. You make me tired!! You know that I love all of your projects, but those diamond blocks are really outstanding. Don’t forget who your sis is! Lol!!
The sixth book already has the space reserved on my book shelf, dearest Rosemary. =)
Rosemary, you are the most productive quilter I’ve met. Between writing books, providing free quilt patterns for us qulters and who knows what else, you are writing wonderful quilting books. Thank you for all sharing your energies and expertise with us.
Thank you for the new version of the photos of the patterns and items you share in the blog ! I try to follow on my android with. My morning coffee…. you are saving me so much time. I can then, jot down what I want to download when I get to my bigger computer …. your new st up is so reader friendly…. you are doing so many things so well, and the technology advances right along with it.
Love. The triangles you are piecing. Are there patterns we can access ? Nice growth for me from tiny civil war block piecing… new eye presciption for me soon . . . Time to lessen the small print hours. So you helped me
Hi Rosemary!
I so look forward to the vintage patterns you have been sharing! Just wanted to let you know that block 3 and this month’s block 4 in the Christmas Toy quilt are the same – a bicycle.
Have wondered how you are doing. I lost my mom last March–she was 89. Them your email arrived that your father had passed at almost the same age. Losing a parent really does leave a void in one’s life.

What a busy lady you are. Please quit bragging about all the snow you are getting. We have nothing here in Kansas City and I’m ready to either get a foot or just have Spring. Thanks for all you do. Olivia K.
Love, love those Lancaster Diamonds! Will these be in your new book?
